The Adventure Never Ends

I checked Mom, there were no yellow spots.

It finally snowed more than a dusting in Utah.  So I took Max out and had him "try" some snow.  Max doesn't really like the cold, and tasting snow I don't think was on his top ten things to do either.

Crawling is tough Mom!

Max hasn't figured out this whole crawling this yet.  He can scoot on him bum and push himself backwards, and will try to reach for just about anything, but forward is a struggle.  He is so frustrated with himself.

8 months

Max turned 8 months on 2/18/2012.  I can't believe I already have an 8 month old baby.  Max isn't really a baby anymore - he is a 30 inch 25 pound little man.  I love his chubby cheeks, legs, arms, and everything chubby on him.  His smiles are heart melting and he knows how to work a whole room of people.  His new favorite things are:  Pancakes, Prunes, Mangoes, and apple juice.  He has recently been heard saying "da-da" and "hey."  Oh I do love my little man so much!

8 months of fun with many more months to come!

Max is the happiest baby!  I love it.

Will's ETSY shop is OPEN!

Will is selling T-Shirts on ETSY for children.  We are so excited as a family to embark on this adventure.  I am proud of Will and all the hard work he has been doing to get his shop set up.
Check out his page and order a shirt for the kid in your life - or kids!

Big Boy Chair, Baby Blessing, and just being a Boy

Max is really growing- he is 7.5 months and fits into 24 month clothing.  We are buying 2t/3t stuff for him now.
He is a Mama's boy - but when Dad comes home it is like a party, they are best buddies!
Charley Emma Strong had her baby blessing this Sunday February 12, 2012.  Will's whole family got together and celebrated her birth.  Charley is the youngest of Matt Strong's family. Charley entered the world with two older brothers and an older sister.  She is adorable - and so tiny!
Max and Grandpa, they are so cute together.  And I actually think Max looks like Grandpa Strong.

 Max and Grandma Strong.
This is Charley on Eric's lap - and yes Eric is holding a baby!
Charley Emma Strong - 2 months, 9 pounds.  She is a peanut.  Max weighed as much as her at birth.
This is Max and his cousin Noah.  Noah was having a ball playing with Max, he was making him laugh so hard. Below is a video of Max playing with Noah.

Max is now eating in a big boy chair.  He loves it.  And he LOVES prunes.  His Grandma Rust also loved prunes.

Maxwell is a blast to have in our family - and he makes anyone smile!  Who wouldn't with that smile and those two little teeth to show off!

Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?

If Max could talk he could answer this question.  Max loves Sesame Street - and more specifically he loves Elmo's World.

This is the set of Sesame Street.
The next picture is some of the awesome characters on the show.
Max is crazy for Elmo, and can even say "Elmo."  He gets so excited and moves his hands and arms tons when Elmo comes on screen.

Here is a video of Max getting excited to watch "Elmo's World."

Growing Up (seven and half months)

My little man sure is growing up.  He has his own personality now and I am in love with it.  He knows how to use his eyes to flirt and get what he wants.  He is the star of ALL Canyon Crest faculty meetings, and disrupts my 5th grade classroom every-time he visits.  My students think he is so cute, so chubby, so funny, and they love hearing him say "Mama."
Max LOVES bath time.  He is starting to understand words we use everyday, and "BATH" is one of his favorites.  Along with "ELMO, MOM, DAD, PHONE, UP, FOOD, MILK"
Aunt Rebecca made Max his bath towel and he loves it.
Ahhh the phone.  We have created a monster.  He LOVES his phone.  And yes this is HIS phone.  I got a new phone, so we gave Max my old one.  He loves it.  He holds it, babbles to it, and truly believes it is magic.
We call it the "Magic Screen."

He got an important text from someone - I bet it was Penny Parker.
