Max is so silly

Max has really become quite the comedian.  He knows how to "fake" laugh and it is funny.  He understands humor on TV now, and Bert and Ernie sure know how to get him giggling.

Max got his hair cut this past week, and it is shorter than we usually get it cut.  He looks so old to me.  I love him with short hair.

Cars are Max's favorite thing.  It is getting a bit crazy.  He is so smart too.  He spends hours stacking his cars, getting mad that they won't stack properly, and studying the wheels.

My belly is getting bigger and bigger.  Max now kinda understands that the baby is in my belly.  When we say "Where's the baby?" he will point to my belly.

And lastly...we have a fridge thief...

Next week is EASTER and we are headed to WARM and FUN California!  Can't wait!!

Baby Peanut's BIG Ultrasound

Around 20 weeks or so the OB has you do a big ultra sound to make sure the baby is growing, developing, and looking baby perfect.
Baby Peanut was just like his brother - a wiggler.  And I didn't even drink a coke!
Baby Peanut is still a boy.  He has all his parts, looks great and healthy.
He is BREACH, but the doctor says that this can be fixed and most of the time the baby with flip himself.  At 37 weeks if he hasn't flipped we can do things at home, and at the doctors office to see if the baby will flip himself.  So for right now, we don't worry (yeah right!) and pray baby flips himself.

Here are his CUTE pictures:

And the Belly picture.

A night out in the warm Spring air

It finally has warmed up a bit here in Utah.  And when I saw warm, it has been in the 50's.  But the sun has been shining, kids are out playing, and late night walks have been seen everywhere.
Daylight savings with a 21 month old sure does take a bit more adjusting.  But by the end of the week, normal routines of sleep had returned.
My dear friend Kat told me that in the Fall I am going to be grateful for that extra hour.  And that is true, with a newborn around our house, yes, an extra hour will be great.

Friday night we took Max and walked around the Riverwoods Shops in Provo.  He LOVED the fountains.  We bought him two new trains, which he carried around like gold.  It was a great night, and the weather was just perfect.

Playing in a little sink

Aunt Beth has a great kitchen.  But the best part of the kitchen is this little sink that Max fit into perfectly.  He tried so hard to drink from the faucet.

Max is just so cool

On with March...

Max has really opened up to the world of food.  He is VERY picky!!  But...lately he has been more open to trying new things.  Like apples, oranges, white bread (yes he is THAT picky), and cucumbers.
Grandpa and Grandma Strong sent this awesome onesie to Baby Peanut.  Max is our model.
One of my High School Friends sent Baby Peanut this box of clothes.
This is Max's new face he makes.  It is his "I am sooo funny!" face.
Raspberries.  Loves them.  Cries when they are gone.
We take art very seriously in our house.  No playing around.

Worst night out.  Ever.  Max was being a 20 month old and didn't want to sit, eat, or anything human.  He threw a fit and we ended up getting everything to go.
This picture of him crying was the ride home from the restaurant.  Sums it up nicely.
 My new craving:  Wasabi Peas.

Max LOVES the window.  Day or night.  Loves to watch the cars.  Play with his cars on the little ledge.  He is our watch man for sure.
