All about Max

Max is 13.5 months, and changing into a toddler more and more everyday.
He is walking EVERYWHERE!  He doesn't want help, he wants to wlak on his own.  He will push your hands away if you try and help him.
He loves going to the pool.  And he is fearless.  He will put his face under on his own.  I need to get him swim lessons in the fall.
He LOVES his Daddy.  He is his favorite.  He doesn't like that Dad works at home, and doesn't play with him while working.  (Get used to it Max, Dad is gonna be working at home your whole life!)
He gives hugs - lots of them.
Since Max was born, after his bath Will has been saying "All Naked Babies Must Kiss their Mommy's!"  And now since Max is walking, after his bath Will says "Go kiss Mommy!"  And he comes, still wet and naked over to me, and gives me a hug.  Melts me every-single-time.
He is getting better at following directions.  He will argue.  He will say "NO" back, but he is listening.

Here are some recent pictures:

Yes, that is a bowl of soap.

 This is his cheese-ball face

Nelesoni and Max are become quite the pair.  They recognize each other and are having a fun time playing with each other.  They like to touch their faces.  Especially the eyes.

My Phone's Photos from July 22- 28th, 2012

Max has been teething - a lot.  So we have been watching Elmo, snuggling with Gerald, using orajel, tylenol, advil, and teething tablets tohelp with the pain.
Max is crazy about "emailing" his many girlfriends.

Max loves being with his Daddy - playing video games or watching TV is a favorite.
 Naked Bum!
Will broke our kitchen chair - and we are now using duck tape and wire to keep it together.
Quails have made a home outside our condo - they are beautiful.
Max can sleep in ANY position
Clifford is a close second to Gerald
Best Buddies - Nelesoni and Max
Max LOVES anything with wheels, so this Tonka truck was perfect for him to play with.

Max loves to organize EVERYTHING - even Daddy's shoes.
Dazed out watching Elmo and eating.
Helping Mommy buy new running shoes.
 Breakfast of Champions for Will
Nohea and Max having a PARTY in Max's room during the
Opening Ceremony of the 2012 Olympics
 My new Mizuno Running Shoes
 Max's new balls

Eating - FINALLY - he has not wanted solid foods since teething has been super painful.
Race shirt - FRONT for angelsrun.org
My favorite picture this week - I made cookies, Max pulled down the tin foil they were on and sat on the floor licking each one.  Yum!

Tiff's Top Three on Friday!

1.  The Olympics start today!  We are having an opening ceremony party at our house.  Any excuse for a party, right?  I love the Olympics, I love that I get to watch two full weeks of sports at anytime!

2.  If I were to travel anywhere in the world, I would LOVE to go to England!  I love the Royal Family, I would love to go to Buckingham Palace, and I would love to see all the history England has.  This is my dream trip!  (Awesome that the Olympics are there this year)
3.  I hate TEETHING!  Max has been teething for weeks now, we can see the teeth, but they have not broken through.  Shoot me!  I feel so bad for Max, I know it hurts him, and besides some tylenol, cold foods, and lots of love there isn't much I can do for him.

Angels Run and My Toilet Baby

What a post title!

Today Max decided that it was time for his toys to get cleaned.  He opened the toilet, put in his toys, and washed them in the nasty toilet water.  Then he came out with the toys in his hands and his mouth, proud as proud could be, and showed me his completed task.  I was so sick.  He was put right in the tub, I bleached the bathroom and then laughed about it.  Max was shocked I wasn't more supportive of his cleaning.  I think he has a little case of OCD.

Also remember to sign up for ANGELSRUN.ORG either to run the race or to sponsor.  Thanks!

Max the Baller

My family LOVES basketball.  No CRAVES it.  My dad and brother could watch any basketball game, live, on TV...it doesn't matter.  So of course, this video made my brother very happy.
And I quote:
"WOOOO...love this...now we just need to work on his defensive stance."  -Uncle Brandon.

Now if he could just use how to use an actual basketball and not the tennis balls...I think that is going to have to come before the defensive stance.  (But we will let my brother dream...)
