Family Baby Shower

What wonderful friends I have! Tanei and Kat organized a super Baby Shower for Baby Max and I. I was overjoyed with the amount of love there was in the room. I got lot of great gifts and ate some yummy food. Thank you Tanei and Kat for the wonderful afternoon.

This was a gift from Will's sister Rebecca. She knows Will VERY well. This was actually one of Will's old Threadless T-shirts. She transformed it into the coolest little baby gown. Will was in awe.

Best idea ever! There were all types of patterns and fabric to make Maxwell Onesies. So now I have about 30 different and very creative onesies to dress Max in.

What a great day! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate Maxwell McLean Strong!

27 weeks - I can't stop smiling.

This is the last week of the 2nd trimester. Some days I feel like the time has flown by, other times I think...could this take any longer. I can't wait to be able to look my little boy in the face and see him smile back at me. Right now Will and I love to see him and feel him move around in my tummy. He is a very active little boy and we have already begun to see a personality from him.

I can't express how thankful I am to be able to be a mother. It is a huge blessing, and one that wouldn't have happened without a lot of prayer. Heavenly Father does answer prayers. He is amazing, and he is good. I thank him for my family each day.

Valentine's Day 2011

Valentine's Day is best celebrated in Elementary School. There is so much to be excited about: The secret crushes, the cute Valentine's, the boxes filled with candy, the class parties, and of course...the 5th grade photo booth. Will and I even go in on the action.
