Max and Mom

Will has been gone for a week at a writing and illustrating conference in upper New York State.  Max and I have been together all week and truly have had a good time together.  I have learned so much about my little man.  And I love how close we have become.  It has been a good week...but we both miss Will very much and am ready for him to come home.  And maybe take one of the late night feedings! 

Maxwell is 4 weeks old

Max had to go to the doctors this past week because of an infection.
We learned that he is 23 inches tall and weighs 10 pounds 9 ounces.
He has those good strong Rust genes in him for his height.
Max is such a fun little baby.  He is smiling now more than ever, and can even grab things in his hands.
He eats like a champ.

Will and I love him more and more each day!

Maxwell's Second Week

Two weeks sure does go by fast.  I am still in recovery mode, but have been able to take walks and get out of the house more.  I can't wait to really start working out, I miss it a lot.  But, nothing can beat the feeling of being a mom, I love it so much.
