Max's Video Debut

 

Max LOVES to kick his legs, and he gets so excited.  His little chipmunk sounds are also adorable. 

Maxwell is 7 weeks old

Maxwell has done quite a lot of traveling this week.  He has been in California visiting and playing with cousins, attending a wedding, and spending a lot of time in the car.  Will and I are so lucky to have such a great baby. 

Max is 6 weeks old

Maxwell is 6 weeks old today and he is one very happy smiley baby.
He loves to play,  especially on his back with rattles and stuffed animals.
He does well with tummy time and has even lifted himself up on his arms a few times. 
He doesn't want to miss a thing.  He holds his head up and looks around at everything. 
His best friend "Mr. Fan" is his favorite!
He loves being outside.  Will just introduced him to the grass the other day and he loved it.
He smiles at you when he has a poopy diaper - like he won a prize!

Will and I love him very much and can't believe how fast 6 weeks has gone.

Maxwell is 5 weeks old

Max and Mom

Will has been gone for a week at a writing and illustrating conference in upper New York State.  Max and I have been together all week and truly have had a good time together.  I have learned so much about my little man.  And I love how close we have become.  It has been a good week...but we both miss Will very much and am ready for him to come home.  And maybe take one of the late night feedings! 

Maxwell is 4 weeks old

Max had to go to the doctors this past week because of an infection.
We learned that he is 23 inches tall and weighs 10 pounds 9 ounces.
He has those good strong Rust genes in him for his height.
Max is such a fun little baby.  He is smiling now more than ever, and can even grab things in his hands.
He eats like a champ.

Will and I love him more and more each day!
