 When Max went to California he came back with the love of Raspberries, now I have to buy them. 

 This is Layla - the cute girl  I tutor.  It was her teacher's birthday, we sent her this picture in a text.

Tiff's Top Three on Friday!

My top three FAVORITE musicians (These are not groups, that is another post)

1.  BILLY JOEL - Hands down, the best piano man.  (My opinion)  I have all his songs memorized, I have seen him in concert twice.  I love everything he does, and I even own that picture book he did about ten years ago.  (The illustrations are AWFUL, but still I bought it.)  I always taught my students his songs, and explained to them that he was THE BEST.  And by the first Parent Teacher Conferences, I always had a few parents ask me "Why does my child want to buy Billy Joel Songs on i-tunes?"
I will meet  him one day.  And thank him for being a constant in my life.  

2.   ELTON JOHN - From Goodbye Yellow Brick Road to Lion King, I just love him.

**Side Note - they are AWESOME together!  Two piano's on one stage.  PERFECT!

 

3.  Whitney Houston - Her voice breaks windows.  Simply Beautiful.  And her hair, amazing.

After a hard week, this laugh keeps me going.  Max keeps me smiling.  I have watched this video multiple times when I feel like crying.  I sure do love being this little boys Mom.

"Mom's not in school this fall so lets go to California!"

Last week we packed up and headed to California.  It was perfect.  (Except for all the car trouble we had, but even that extended our trip so I can't even complain to much about the car.)

We spend most of our days at Will's parents house.  LOVE it there!  So relaxing, fun, and Max has a blast with his cousins.

Cousin David was such a great buddy to Max.  It was so cute.

Raspberries were Max's favorite!

Max loved Grandma's cars.  He carried them everywhere.  He would also get down really close to the table and study the cars.

We spend a day with our BEST friends in the whole wide world!  They Wyatt's.  Jake and Kat moved to California about 6 weeks ago - and boy was it so good to see them. 

Kat took us to Hollywood.  Awesome.  One done for my bucket list.

On our drive to California we got to spend time with my good friend Cami and her new baby Noah.  They live in Las Vegas, and Cami taught 3rd grade at Canyon Crest with me.

Noah is 11 weeks and Max is 14.5 months

Tiff's Top Three on Friday (Saturday?)

My Top Three things I hate:

1.  OLIVES - YUCK!  I have never ever liked them.  They smell oh so bad.  They taste awful, in my opninion, and the green ones with the red pepper thing inside, I don't even want to talk about it.

2.  I hate being late.  It drives me nuts.  I always feel so bad when I am late.  I try to leave early just to be a little early to something.  (But in Utah, on time mean early...why do I still live in this crazy state??)

3.  SPIDERS (Bugs in general)  Enough said.

Max at Dance Practice

I have been volunteering at Canyon Crest for the last few weeks.
I am helping with the Dance Program for the 5th grade.
My job - teach them quality 80's dance moves.  Done.
My second job - bring Max so Will can work.  Done.
My third job - take adorable video of Max.  Done.

The Dance program is September 21st at Canyon Crest.  The whole school is involved and there is a carnival after.  Come for some fun!  (PS - it is also my 31st birthday!)
