WOW - our weeks has been busy!

Elmo Live 2012

We went and saw ELMO LIVE today!
It was so fun to go on a big family outing together.
I did get tears in my eyes when Elmo first came on stage and Max's face lit up like it was the best thing he has ever seen.

It was a great show.  All the cool characters were there, including BIG BIRD. 

They sang "I Don't Want to Live On The Moon"  which is one of our family favorites that Ernie sings.  We sing it to Max before bed almost every night.

 During intermission Max didn't want to leave the stage area. 

 "My Mom and Dad are SUCKERS!  They bought me this overpriced toy when I saw another kid have it and started to cry.  I have them in the palm of my hands..."

Canyon Crest Carnival

 The Canyon Crest Carnival was tonight.  Max LOVED the bounce house, the rockets, and the music.  He was a little overstimulated by all the students who were constantly calling his name, but we had fun as a family.  It was nice to see old friends.

Mrs. Strong's confession

My first year students are now Freshman in College.  Some of the boys I taught are on missions, and some are putting in their papers.  But no matter how much they change, and how old they get I will always remember them as 5th or 6th graders. 

When they start having kids...well...that is another story.  Then that means I will be like a "grandma" and I am not ready for that yet.

A best bud that lives right upstairs is awesome.  Especially a best bud who has a GREAT Mom.  Casch is not only a great friend to me, but loves Max. 

These two boys are so cute together.  It makes me very happy.
