On with March...
Max has really opened up to the world of food. He is VERY picky!! But...lately he has been more open to trying new things. Like apples, oranges, white bread (yes he is THAT picky), and cucumbers.
Grandpa and Grandma Strong sent this awesome onesie to Baby Peanut. Max is our model.
One of my High School Friends sent Baby Peanut this box of clothes.
This is Max's new face he makes. It is his "I am sooo funny!" face.
Raspberries. Loves them. Cries when they are gone.
We take art very seriously in our house. No playing around.
Worst night out. Ever. Max was being a 20 month old and didn't want to sit, eat, or anything human. He threw a fit and we ended up getting everything to go.
Max LOVES the window. Day or night. Loves to watch the cars. Play with his cars on the little ledge. He is our watch man for sure.

This picture of him crying was the ride home from the restaurant. Sums it up nicely.
My new craving: Wasabi Peas.Max LOVES the window. Day or night. Loves to watch the cars. Play with his cars on the little ledge. He is our watch man for sure.

Cravings
Cravings are a funny thing. Before I was pregnant I would "crave" things. Mostly diet coke...but we are only loking at the positives, right?
Since being pregnant I haven't really craved things as much as I haven't wanted to see, smell or taste certain foods. Here are some of my favorites and not so favorites thus far.
The "HATE" list:
1. The smell of Max's chicken nuggets make me want to vomit. I can't stand it, even the thought makes me nauseous.
2. Red pasta sauce. Basically we haven't had Italian since Thanksgiving.
3. Saltine crackers or any type of crackers. Can't stand the smell.
4. Yeast - like baking bread or all white bread. YUCK!
5. Anything with pepper. Hate the taste and the smell.
6. Ginger Ale - the smell throws me for a loop.
7. GUM! Who would have thought, the gum chewer of the world would hate gum? Weird right?
The "LOVE" list:
1. Apples - but specifically Pink Lady apples. The apples have to be cold and crunchy.
2. Cucumbers with lots of salt.
3. Salads - with salt and ranch dressing.
4. Cream Cheese - yes I eat it right out of the container.
5. Yogurt. We have been eating yogurt pops, Creamys, and I have come to LOVE Greek yogurt. I am eating the non-fat organic kind. Vanilla is my yogurt flavor of choice right now. I am not going to get adventurous because I fear that I might not like it. I can't have anything to sweet.
6. Propel - water just doesn't cut it. Propel still keeps me hydrated and gives me a little flavor. Must be cold.
7. Cottage Cheese with ketchup. Will thinks this is NASTY. My mom used to eat it ALL the time. No wonder I love it. Don't picture it, or it will make you say "GROSS"!
I am sure this list will change and maybe even get longer on the "LOVE" side of things. But for right now. This is my diet. This is what I eat on most days. I still feel nauseous at night so around 7 or 8 pm I drink Sprite and sit on the couch until I get into bed.

Getting Ready for Baby Peanut
Slowly I have started getting ready for Baby Peanut. Very Slowly.
Max is growing like a weed, and I had to pack up a lot of his clothes to make room for new ones. He is a 4T on the top, but still a 24 months/2T on the bottom. He has the LONGEST arms and body. It is crazy. Those are Rust genes. Proud of them.
While Will was putting things for Max in storage I had him get out the baby clothes from Max. There was a lot.
I also thought I organized them a lot better. Wrong. So I basically re-organized everything, went through and got rid of the stuff that I didn't like from Max, or that was stained to no return. Will and I had a good laugh because we remembered how BIG Max was at 8 weeks. He hardly used 0-3 month clothes, and went right to 3-6, 6-9 months. So we have a ton of those. I am thinking this baby is going to be a bit smaller than Max, just because of how the pregnancy has been going so far, but you never know. (Maybe a smaller head?)
So I have the 0-3 month stuff out and in drawers in Max's room, and then 3-6 month stuff waiting to be used in the closet.
I need winter stuff for this baby, but we will deal with that when winter comes.
I am really excited to meet Baby Boy Peanut, and got more excited when I went through the clothes.
Max isn't to sure about this whole baby thing. He kept pointing to the clothes and sternly saying "NO, NO, NO!"
(He only says to words Mom and No, so in my head I thought he was really saying "LOVE LOVE LOVE!")

Getting over being sick - the weird sick.
The rash is slowly going away, so playing inside has increased. We still have to keep him away from others. I posted in the last blog entry what he had. But lets just say it was weird.
He loves playing "roll-back" on the kitchen table. He thinks it is sooo funny.
This is his new CRAZY face. He makes this one a lot.
