Grandma's Quilt

Will's Mom made Will and I a beautiful wedding quilt and Max LOVES it!  It has bright colors and patterns.  Thank you Grandma for the blanket - it is going to be very loved.

A little bit of Messy Max

Max LOVES "big people" food.  He watches in envy when Will and I eat.  We couldn't have made his day any better on his first day of mushed squash.  He LOVES anything we give him - fruit, veggies, bread, anything...

My Brother ROCKED the NYC marathon

Brandon Thomas Rust ran an awesome race!
I got up multiple times during the night because I was so scared I was going to miss out on watching him race.  I was tracking his mile times and placement online.  At the half my brother was running solid 6:40 miles and went through the 13.1 mile mark at 1:28.  AMAZING.
I called my Dad and said - Brandon is running awesome, get to the finish.   So my dad ran.  He got to the plaza where is got a picture of Brandon.
I was screaming in our condo and so excited for Brandon.  He was staying strong, and finished the marathon in 3:09.  BOSTON marathon qualifying time is 3:10.
So if he wants to run in the best marathon on the planet we are all headed to BOSTON!!
(No pressure)

My Baby Brother is a GREAT runner!  My Mom is smiling.  She is proud.  So am I.

NYC Marathon 2011

This video is for Uncle Brandon.  He is running the NYC marathon on Sunday November 6th and we wanted to wish him good luck.  He is running in memory of my Mama, Karen Rust.  My mom would be so proud of my brother. 
And the deal is - If Brandon qualifies for Boston, I go - no matter what!

 Will and I took Max out "Trick-or Treating."  It was fun.  We stopped by three of our close friends houses.  The McGuire's, The Osmond's and then ate dinner at the Gibson's.  Max did great, and fell asleep on Ann Gibson's lap during dinner. 

The Strong Family 2011

Mrs. Strong and Mrs. Wilson's class 2011 - They are a good group of kids, and I am getting to know they and their craziness more each day.  Teaching part time is awesome and I couldn't ask for a better half in Grace Wilson.  She rocks!
