Max and the dooo-gggsss

We had a wonderful time in California this past week!  It is always relaxing and fun to be with family.  Max LOVES his cousins, but this time the cousins were outranked by the dogs.  Maggie and Oliver stole Max's heart.  And opened up a new round of vocabulary for Max. 

Max misses the dogs.  He keeps going outside and saying and pointing to the "dogs" who are not there.  I guess this means we are going to be getting a dog, when we get a house of course!

Disneyland Trip Fall 2013

This was our first trip to Disneyland as a family of four.
Both of the boys did GREAT!

Grandma and Grandpa Strong came with us for the day and we were very happy to have them along.  Doing Disneyland with two kids (And one who is still nursing) isn't easy.
Lucky for me, Dexter is a great baby and did great through the day.  He even got to go on a few rides.

Max was in Heaven.  As soon as he figured out that CARS LAND was real he was set for a great day.  The first ride of the day was a little rough but he got the hang of it, and by the end of the day Max had Disneyland figured out.  You wait in a line, then you get to go on a ride.

Max LOVED the train around the park.  He also enjoyed the Muppets show.

Overall the day was perfect.  Max even took a 2 hour nap around noon!

This is how my little man Dexter spent most of the day.  Sleeping on Grandpa.  I don't think either of them minded!

Pumpkin Patch October 2013

This is our third year in a row going to the Rowley's Pumpkin Patch.  Max had a blast this year. 
We got a great pumpkin to carve for FHE on Monday night!
*Dexter was with us, he slept in the Ergo the whole time.

Dexter is TWO months

Dexter turned two months old on September 25th.  He has changed so much since being born.  He still has a TON of hair, but is loosing the normal "back" hair from rubbing his little head around on the floor.  He smiles a ton!  He loves his brother, and smiles BIG when he is around.  Dexter also has become very vocal and will let us know when he is happy, sad, frustrated, or just wants more attention!
Max has been such a GREAT big brother. When Dexter cries Max goes and gives him hugs, kisses "Muh" and will even give him Gerald.  He does like to tease him and we find him sneaking up on Dexter behind the couch or on the floor and he tickles him once he reaches him.

Weight:  12.5 pounds
Height:  23 inches
Head size:  15.25 inches  (It is growing!)

A little bit of smile goes a long way!

Dexter has been smiling a ton lately.  In the last week he smiles when we talk to him, when Max hugs him, and when he is just watching "Mr. Fan." 
I love this stage!  Smiling is the BEST! 

Fall Soccer is always fun

We have been going to cousin Bailey, Hayden and Noah's fall soccer games.  So much fun.  Cousin Charley loves playing with Dexter.
Max enjoys running around, and Will is such a good sport and will chase him anywhere!

 Dexter sure is getting into Soccer, he loves the sun so much he sleeps right through the game!

 But he does have a fan club.  Noah is supposed to be playing in the game, but plays with the baby hair instead. 

We are so lucky to have cousins so close!
I love watching soccer games it reminds me of when I played on the Flower Shop of Pennington and my uniform color was PINK.  YES PINK!
