A Canyon Crest Christmas 2010

When Will and I woke up this morning we saw this outside:

We were hoping school would be canceled but alas we had to go...but at the end of the day we were so happy we got to spend a day at school with my amazing 5th graders.

THE HOLIDAY CONCERT:
The BEST there ever will be.

For the past month the whole 5th grade has been practicing Vocal Point's "Twelve Days of Christmas."  It is a very hard song and a challenge for anyone.  But for our 5th graders this year we knew they would be up to the task.
After watching the K-4th graders sing their songs, it was up to us to steal the show.  And we not only stole the show - we ran away with it.
We are going to put the video up on YOU TUBE in a private account.  Information to come.

Then after the Canyon Crest school concert, we went back to our classroom to have our Holiday Party.  This year my amazing mom's planned a service project for the kids to participate in.  They made blankets for the Salt Lake City Children shelter.  I was so proud of my students.  They put so much love and hard work into helping those in need.

WILL'S FIRST SNOWMAN
Will has been dying to make a snowman since the day I met him.  Growing up in California snow was not something he got to enjoy.  My students were MORE than happy to build a snow man right along side of him. Here are the picture to prove the vastness of Will's first snowman:

All-in-all today was SUPER.  The best Christmas Day of School EVER!  I am so lucky to be teaching the students that I have this year.  I love them to pieces.

MERRY CHRISTMAS:
MRS. STRONG'S AMAZING 5th GRADE CLASS!

  1. Yea! Thanks for the pictures. Now I can experience the snow that we are lacking in Southern California! Stay safe and keep up the good work.
