New Jersey and you PERFECT together!

This past weekend Max and I traveled to NJ to see my Dad and Brother.  We were supposed to watch them run the New York Marathon but it was cancelled because of Hurricane Sandy.  My brother was THRILLED because he had been sick for a while, and my Dad was disappointed because he was in great shape and wanted to run a good time in the marathon.

With my new phone in tow and a cute toddler to take pictures of we documented the trip really well.

On our drive to the airport and in the airplane.  Max LOVED the window.  Luckily on the way there and back we had really nice people sitting by us and let Max sit on their laps to watch outside.  Future pilot??

The first night in NJ Max showed my Dad how much he LOVES cars.  My Dad was amazed at how concentrated he got.
Max slept in bed with me the whole trip, it was interesting.
This is Baby Tiffany and my Dad's parents.  I love this picture, and I can't wait to be able to hang it up in our condo.

We spent all day on Saturday in New York with Uncle Brandon.  Max cried every time Brandon tried to get near him, but by the end of the trip - literally the end, Max gave Uncle B a high five.  Progress.  Baby steps.

Max teaching Uncle B about Elmo.

On Sunday we went to the Philly Zoo.  It was really fun, but really cold.  Max liked the big animals and running around the whole zoo.

Philly pretzel - AMAZING!  I could not wait to have one, and it was even better than how I remembered.

NJ was a mess from Hurricane Sandy.  This was one of hundreds of huge old trees that were uprooted from the storm.  It was so sad.
 Peas and Diet Coke?

On Monday we just hung out with Grandpa.  He didn't go to work, which was great.

Monday night was Halloween in NJ.  They had to forgo Halloween last week because of the hurricane.  My dad got 200 plus visitors.  We ran out of Candy!  Max dressed up again.  We also got Max a Mater Car and he couldn't put it down.  Here is to hoping that Elmo might not be the only thing he watches.
My Dad and Max would play this game where Grandpa would stand at the top of the stairs and "hide" and then pop out.  Max would laugh so hard.

Baby Tiffany - I look like baby Max!!
On the flight back to see Daddy!  After 1 hour of sleep the night before do you see those AWFUL bags under my eyes?
Father and Son reunited - and they were sooo happy to see each other!
Great trip - but I am glad to be home in Utah.
