Phone Pictures this week - July 2 to July 7

Capturing the best moments usually happens on my phone.

Max taking a nap hugging his BFF Gerald.
 Climbing.
Fooling around with Daddy in the Doctors office.
 Freedom Festival July 2nd
 Climbing
 Forward facing car seat
 Playing the Wii
 Staring contest
 Sad face
This is from my Dad's phone - he is building a patio for a friend.
Max's new shoes - so cute!
Max's first haircut at a salon  - I think he would rather have Aunt Rebecca cut his hair!
Cami Violante's baby - Noah.  He was born June 11th.  Cami sent me this picture from her phone.
4th of July Parade - found out he had strep throat that day.  He was not feeling very good.
 Feeling better
Now that Max can climb, he can get into anything - even the flour.
"Max is just testing his baby jail."  -Will.  We are taking the pack and play to Bear Lake.
I am not sure Max is going to love sleeping in it.

Tiff's Top Three on Friday!

1.  If I could go back to any decade it would be the 50's and I would want to be in the roller derby.  Check out these awesome pictures!

2.  Next Week we are going to Bear Lake with Will's family for the Strong Family Reunion.

3.  Everyone should follow this blog:  http://dmcguirephotos.blogspot.com/
Denise is one of the coolest Mom's I know.  I have taught three of her Children, all different, and all great.  She adores Max, and Max loves her back.  She reminds me of Fran which is why we get along so well.

July 4th 2012

A Quote from one of my favorite movies:
"Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. "Mankind." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night!" We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!" -Independence Day.

Can you believe that this was Max last 4th of July?  He was such a peanut.

We went to the Freedom Festival this year to watch the Parade.  I love 4th of July in Provo.  There is always a party, and always a lot of good friends to see.
This year I was surprised by KALEI and CHRIS!  It was so good to see them both.  They drove in from California.  I have not seen them in a year.
 Me, Grace and Kat
Max meeting Kalei for the first time.
Max and Will watching the Parade.

Max actually hasn't been feeling good.  He slept through a lot of the parade.  And we learned quickly that he has had strep throat for a few days.  Poor little guy.
Max and Will sleeping on the Tarp.  Our ward has a huge breakfast and the youth sleep out to save a lot of space on the parade route.  It is a blast!
Kalei and I.  This was a great 4th of July gift.

"I Believe I Can Fly"

Jason had the best Graduation gift ever!  Skydiving!
What 18 year old wouldn't think this was awesome?
The Skydiving Utah place was in the middle of no-where.  It is near the Salt Flats about 45 minutes from Salt Lake.  Seriously - NOTHING in the town except this dome.

The gang waiting for him to make the plunge!  We had The Henry clan, the Wyatt pair, Michael Wyatt, and the Strong's come to watch him jump.  It was a blast.
Max, Nohea and Mei didn't have a clue what was going on.  Max was excited because he got to watch Elmo on the car ride back to Provo.

Max at a LOT of Graham Crackers!

I was talking to Mei and Nohea told me "That is MY sister!"  Yes, Nohea Mei is your sister and she is darling!  And you are so cute to be so protective.
 Jason Walking to the Jump!

GO TEAM USA!  This is Jason and his tandem jumper Avery.  He seemed like a nice guy.  Jason was up in the air the longest.

Here is our proud jumper - and he said "Heck Yes" to doing the jump again!  Crazy!

Here are a few videos from the Jump.
