The 6th graders at Canyon Crest have a "dance" or "Mini-prom" or "Baby-Prom" otherwise known as Cotillion. When I taught 6th grade the teachers and students would spend weeks practicing and preparing for the Cotillion. The students learn dances, good manners for dinner, and proper attire for important events. The tradition started over 25 years ago at Canyon Crest. I hope the tradition continues because it is really fun for everyone.
This year was my last year of students.
Some of my favorites.
Max had fun, and if you didn't see him dancing you should check out the last post.
