The Adventure Never Ends

May is always one of the busiest months!

When I was teaching, May was ALWAYS the busy, crazy, and hectic month.
It seems as if May hasn't changed much in my life.
And May, you are only half way over!

Canyon Crest had a little retirement event for the teachers that were leaving the school.  Our favorite teacher, Bari Olson retired this year.  We just love her.  She is kind, sweet, and loves children.  She was also the first person to point our "what a cute couple you and Will are" when we first started dating.  Will also was the tutor in her room the year we met.

The next night one of our favorite families, The McGuires, had a wedding.  Their daughter Paige Mcguire was sealed in the Bountiful Temple.  They had the cutest wedding.  Fifties themed, with great musci and the highlight of the party for Max was the 50's cars!

Corey and Paige Furr - the new happy married couple!

We decided one Saturday morning to take a trip to Riverwoods to look at the fountains.  Max LOVES water.  Which is going to be awesome for 7-peaks this summer.

(below is my favorite picture of Max and Will, they look so much alike!)

Max has sure become the talker and little comedian.  He makes the best faces and will practice them in the bathroom whenever he gets a chance.
(Don't mind the diaper in the background...it was one of those days...)

One day I was taking a shower - ALONE!  Luxury.  But Max thought I was in need of some toys so he slid cars under the bathroom door for me to play with.  I guess he waited the whole time I was in the shower outside of the door.  Will was cracking up!

During your 27th week (about) of pregnancy you have to take this horrible glucose screening test.  Well the first one I failed.  I cried, was upset, did all the research I could on gestational diabetes.  Then I had to go and take a three hour test which included 4 needles and drinking that awful drink again.  I sat bored for about 4 hours at the doctors.  I had to fast for 12 hours before, plus couldn't eat during the test, so that is 16 hours (about) without food.  But the best news - I PASSED!

We then of course had to go out and celebrate!  Red Robin.  Milkshakes. French Fries.  And Will won Max a ball using "The Claw".

I am now 28 weeks.

May 18th is Max's 23rd month birth-DAY.  That means in a month he will be 2.  I will have an official two year old.  People have been asking us since he turned ONE if he was two, so now we can say "yes he is two!"  We celebrated today by getting him raspberries.  They are his FAVORITE.  He threw a huge tantrum in Costco until we gave him a few (not cleaned, but who cares) in the car on the way home.  It made a mess, but he wasn't crying, kicking, or screaming anymore!

And the rest of May, busy busy busy...
